Biking holiday - Southern part of Mors in 4 days
Where the north of Mors has its impressive slopes, the south has beautiful beach meadows, where you can hear the ribbiting sound of frogs and toads, during the summertime. At the beach meadows, especially the golden light-bellied brent goose and golden plover come to make a halt during spring and fall. Biking Holiday – 7 Days in the Limfjords-Area
The country and landscape surrounding the Limfjord is a paradise for cyclists. Wonderful opportunities await in a grand and richly varied nature. Along your way, you will meet kind, welcoming people –  some can be difficult to understand, and so Denmark becomes a large country, where local dialects and cultures are preserved. The Limfjord is tied together by the many bridges and ferries, which makes it possible to enjoy the landscapes in multiple stages. You will start and end you tour at the Isle of Mors, which is the largest island in the Limfjord. Here, the local cycling route is called “The Sunshine Route” – also when it's raining. Continue your trip going to the western part of Salling, along the bay Venø Bugt, the waters of Nissum Bredning, the peninsula Thyholm, and the Southern part of Thy, where history can be felt through the beautiful landscapes along your way. Here, you will be reminded continuously of the time of the Viking, through the large number of burial mounds spread throughout the landscapes. Biking Holiday – Charming Biking Tour in 8 Days
The area surrounding the Limfjord is excellent for biking – and in this tour, you get 6 day-stages that cover just about everything! A calm fjord and a roaring sea combined with highly varied nature, high skies, fresh air, and hospitality as is characteristic for West Jutland. Biking Holiday – Island, City and Nature in 7 Days
On this biking route, you cross the Limfjord no less than 4 times, on your way around some of the most beautiful areas and landscapes of Jutland. The biking route has its start and finish on the Limfjord’s island Mors. From here, you cross the fjord for the first time, as you continue your bike tour through Salling, where you can enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the smaller island Fur. Your second time crossing the Limfjord leads you to the peninsula Lovns, as you continue your bike route towards Aalborg via Aars and Nibe. Aalborg is the “capital” of Northern Jutland and, here, you can experience the liveliness of the city both day and night. In the heart of Aalborg, lies the famous street Jomfru Ane Gade, which is the longest street in Denmark that only consists of bars. The harbor has undergone a beautiful renovation, so today it appears inviting and atmospheric. Enjoy the landscapes of Jammerbugt and Thy, the land between the sea and fjord. Biking Holiday – Mors and Salling in 3 Days
With Nykøbing Mors, famous for housing Dueholm Monastery and The Foundry Museum, as your starting point, your biking route is southbound towards the picturesque Legind Bjerge which, with good reason, is called the pride of Mors. It is in the hills of Legind Bjerge, the 1.7 km long Sallingsund Bridge connects the island to the mainland. In 1978, the bridge replaced the two small wooden ferries “Pinen” and “Plagen”, which shuttled between Mors and Salling. Enjoy the magnificent view from the bridge, before the Limfjord’s Route takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Harre Vig and Roslev, where you will spend the night. Salling Natursti (Salling Nature Trail) is built upon the former railroad tracks. On the way, you will pass by Grynderup lake with its birdwatch tower and rope ferry as well as Glyngøre Culture Station, in the north western part of Salling, before you cross the Sallingsund bridge as you return to Nykøbing Mors, where you will find your last overnight accommodation. Nykøbing Mors is decorated generously with sculptures, many of which crafted by Erik Heide. The town has a thriving centre and a pedestrian street, which beautifully connects with the harbor. This biking holiday invites you to enjoy the best from both Mors and Thy. You begin and finish your bicycle route on the island Mors, which is renowned for its highly varied nature with hills, slopes, beaches, forests, and fields. The route takes you across the Limfjord, which has always been a challenge and a border between Mors and Thy. In 1939, a bridge was built between these two parts of the country, however, the good-natured mutual banter between the islanders and the people of Thy did not stop there. Biking Holiday – The Limfjord Route in 12 Days
The Limfjord Land is a fantastic area for biking. The route has a length of 610 km and takes you all the way around the Limfjord. The Limfjord separates Northern Jutland in two and stretches from the gentle landscape on the east coast to the harsh nature on the west. The landscape between Hals and Harboøre is characterized by its many bridges and ferries that tie the fjord and its many islands together. This biking tour both starts and finishes on the island Mors and it guides you to experience all of the Limfjord. From your starting point on Mors, you bike south and along Nissum Broad directed toward the West Coast. Here, an obvious detour is to visit the small island Venø. Next, hop on the ferry from Thyborøn to Agger, by which you arrive in Thy, where the landscape is characterized by both the sea and the fjord. From here, you find your way back to the rhythm of the Limfjord, as you continue your bike North. Aalborg – also known as the Paris of the North – lies beautifully by the fjord and, from here, the Limfjord Route guides you onwards towards the Kattegat Sea. Again, you cross the fjord by ferry, this time from Hals to Egense, from where you bike back to the city of Aalborg. After your second overnight stay in Aalborg, you hop back on your bike and follow the Limfjord Route south, enjoying the beautiful view of the Limfjord island Livø. On Mors, there are several places to hike! It is obvious to hike along the Coastal Route, either on the beach or on trail systems close to the water. Here, you can still hear the waves of the Limfjord and feel the salty air. Put together your own hike or let VisitMors take care of it – the possibilities are manifold and a tour can be arranged in all price ranges.  Starting in Nykøbing, follow the route to the north of Mors. Snapseruten - I egen bil på 4 dage
Dag 1 Start turen hos Viskum Snaps. Her fremstilles og sælges mere end 140 forskellige snaps. Urter, flasker, brugskunst, lys mm. er også at finde i butikken. Du følger herefter Snapseruten videre til St. Binderup Kro, hvor personalet forkæler dig med et snapsegodt ophold. Dag 2 Turen går videre ad Snapseruten, mod Hvalpsund, hvor der er mulighed for at besøge Herregården Hessel. På Hessel er der flere aktive laug. Et af dem snapselauget, som står for en snapseurtehave med urter fra egnen. Herefter fortsætter turen til Hotel Thisted. Måske er der tid til shopping i byens hyggelige gader inden I igen forkæles med en Snapsemenu. Dag 3 Når morgenmaden er indtaget, går turen videre ad Snapseruten til Vorupør Museum. Herefter får I mulighed for at nyde Nationalpark Thy og Vesterhavet, inden turen går videre til Tambohus Kro & Badehotel, hvor endnu en snapsemenu venter jer. Dag 4 Efter morgenmaden siger vi tak for denne gang og ønsker jer fortsat god tur ud i skønne Danmark.

Snapseruten - Vestruten i bil på 3 dage
Dag 1 Start opholdet med frisklavet kaffe og kage på Hotel Thinggaard. Herefter er der mulighed for at shoppe i den hyggelige handelsby Hurup inden dagen afsluttes med hotellets lækre snapsemenu. Dag 2 Efter morgenmaden kører I videre ad Snapseruten til Næssundfærgen, som sejler jer til naturskønne Sydmors. Ruten følges ad de små snoede veje til Sallingsund, hvor I slipper ruten og kører over Sallingsundbroen og herefter videre ad Snapseruten til Thise Mejeri. Besøg butikken, som bugner med spændende oste, mælkeprodukter og et væld af smagsprøver - slaraffenland for ostenydere. Fra Thise Mejeri er der kort afstand til jeres næste stop ved Brænderiet Limfjorden, beliggende ved Sundsøre Havn. Butikken tilbyder en bred vifte af whisky, rom, lokal brandy, lokale likører, ølsnapse, kryddersnapse og meget mere. Herefter tager I færgen fra Sundsøre til Hvalpsund, hvor I skal overnatte på Hvalpsund Færgekro, og hvor en skøn middag venter jer. Kroen er smukt beliggende med en skøn udsigt over Limfjorden. Dag 3 Inden turen går videre, kan vi absolut anbefale en gåtur i området. Herefter er der indlagt et besøg på Herregården Hessel. I haven er der blandt andet en snapseurtehave, som til stadighed bliver udvidet. Mange af urterne er hjemmehørende på egnen. Herefter siger vi tak for denne gang og god tur videre.
